The Kindness Crew

Four young men from Victoria, Canada have made ripples in that city by committing acts of spontaneous kindness. Dubbed the Kindness Crew, these guys hand out flowers, give free massages and help renovate community day care facilities. "Do something positive" is their mantra .

    These young men are wonderful!!! They remind me of the film project I'm working on called American Bear. It is simply a beautiful exploration of the kindness that strangers exhibit in this country. The two students who made the project went around the country for 60 days relying on the kindness of strangers for shelter each night and documented their experience.     I think that's great!! I think people in this world are generally kind,, but it seems people are afraid to show it,, bring back public displays of affection and offer a helping hand when you can!!

    So awesome- I have felt for so long that kindness is the answer to our problems- The perception that it has to be a huge gift or act is not correct. People respond to such simple things and it changes lives- The mothers of these boys must be so proud and watching from heaven in joy----- If you head to Florida- I am in and for now- Off to commit an act of kindness Thanks you
