The swimming pool atop a hill in Kabul was built during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan and later used as a Taliban execution site. Today a group of Australians are putting the pool to a positive use - they're teaching Afghan youth how to skateboard there. In a city where there are not many recreational alternatives for young people, the sport is a lifeline amid the ongoing war and destruction.
