Australian Ruth Frith is a fine testament to longevity, not only of the body but of the competitive spirit. At 98, she enjoys nothing more than a good contest on the track, particularly her favorite event the hammer throw. These days she has trouble finding peers to compete against, so she is taking on the 70-year-olds. And winning.
