Stricken by poverty, most children in Malawi are unable to join school because their parents are unable to meet the needs of their hungry children. The Mary's Meals program has been providing nutritional porridge to thousands of school children in Malawi and the rest of Africa. In addition to feeding these children, Mary's Meals has helped in substantially improving the enrollment at these schools and has therefore paved the way for sustained development through education.
