In a desert in India a few years ago, Shilo Shiv Suleman reflected on how the magic of our childhood and ancient myths have been replaced by machinery. As an illustrator since her teens, Shilo now breathes childhood magic into technology with her iPad storybook app named "Khoya." In this TED talk, she takes us on a journey at the wondrous intersection of adventure, stories, and technology, where anything is possible.

    To dream or imagine, by reading a book seems to have vanished from our childrens lives, the replacement is a form of hypnotic trance from our modern technology. Is this good? Myself I wonder, if I am becoming a part of the unimaginitive? That my creativity is being replaced by a 5 hour session of Angry Birds? and my addicted brain is not satisfied as it would have been from reading, and imagining the characters in a good book.
