For wheelchair-bound children and adults, horseback riding provides a change in perspective - a chance to look down on the world, rather than always having to look up. Ride On, a program that was started in 1994 to serve the needs of the community, provides disabled riders, some as young as 2 years of age, a way to condition their bodies, as well as gain self confidence and social skills. Community involvement keeps it going.
