Learning to play the violin is difficult enough but Adrian Anantawan took it to the next level. Adrian was born without a right hand and at the age of nine, he began learning to play the violin. When you behold Adrian gracefully creating beautiful notes from his instrument, your perception of what is possible inevitably expands. After Adrian had the honor of performing for the Dalai Lama, his Holiness was so moved that he touched his head to Adrian’s in a moment of love and blessing. Adrian not only shares his gift with audiences around the world but he is also an inspiration for children of war with amputated limbs. This video captures one individual’s connection with the power of music, for nothing can impede its creation when it is played with devotion and a bit of ingenuity.
