In Dubai, the [sameness] project shows us how something as simple as a chair, an idea balloon, and two willing participants can establish a connection in only a few minutes. The concept is simple: have a seat, pull down a balloon, have a conversation. In the moments captured, we witness strangers sharing a pretty cool and unique experience that reminds us it's the little things that connect humanity.

    I love it! Everyone has a story to share, sometimes a simple smile can make someone's day or an open ear can change a life. Take time to stop, look someone in the eye and listen. The experience will be different for each of us, but the takeaway will be there. Fabulous, just fabulous! I am setting this up at my next event!

    The simply and gentle approach to it is amazing. So many times we communicate on the run when we rushed, driving in the car on the cellphone, walking down the office hallway, etc. But just the simple act of taking the time to sit and have relaxed conversation with a stranger is such a wonderful thought. Love the balloon idea, too.
