Nasty punches, painful kicks, strangling, verbal abuse, these are what over 13 million American children, and millions more around the world face everyday in school. Bullying is the commonest form of violence young people face and Emmy award winning director Lee Hirsch wanted the world to wake up to this reality through his film 'Bully'. The film sparked off a powerful movement called 'The Bully Project' which touched 250,000 students and 7500 educators in over 120 cities in the USA. This movement helped transform a culture of bullying into a culture of empathy and action.
