When 21-year-old Lukas Da Cruz was hit by a stray bullet in a drive-by shooting, he had no idea that a guardian angel was going to step into his life. Third-grader Katelyn Indelicato heard about the shooting and the fact that Lukas would require expensive physical therapy. She wasted no time in emptying her piggy bank and donating her savings. But she didn't stop there. The impassioned 8-year-old went on to run lemonade stands, deliver speeches, and mobilize her peers and her community eventually raising more than $10,000, all for a man she'd never met. "Be really, really kind to whoever it is," says Katelyn, "Just be kind even though it may be hard."
