A film by Divya Kapoor. More at Sunlit Futures.

In the parched hills of Madhya Presdesh in central India, villagers of Majora had become desperately short of water. There was one productive deep well in the area; but it stood more the 1.5km from the village and nearly 100m lower in elevation. Women bore the brunt of the backbreaking work to carry pots of water from this well. The shortage was creating serious social conflict. Watch how Sunlit Future, the solar energy engineering firm from Auroville, brought plentiful water to this desperate village.
