A film by Brian Carlson.

Jose Melendez aka "Mr. Gold" is a 21 time felon who spent 11 years incarcerated in both federal and state prison, yet his story is one of new beginnings, hope and the power of change. Unemployed for 18 months post release, he found an opportunity to experience the gifts that come with the simple act of brightening a moment for other people. A job as a "gold-outfitted" street corner pitch man and sign-flipper for a jewelry store allowed his positive energy to thrive and impact others, one passer-by at a time. His ultimate goal is to start his own business and give former inmates the gift he has recieved...the gift of opportunity and hope.
