J J Tiziou believes "I've never met a person who isn't photogenic." Tiziou, a Philadelphia photographer, loves to see people dance, to enjoy the movement of their bodies and the joy that accompanies this expression. "How Philly Moves" consists of three day events where participants can gambol, shimmy, and sway any way they like as Tiziou photographs the dancers. The resulting pictures of 2014 were used to create an 85,000 square foot mural that decorates the Philadelphia airport parking garage. This display has won many awards, but more importantly, it is what visitors first see as they enter the city on I-95. Tiziou brings happiness to his city as well as to those who engaged in the project. As one dancer says, "There's no judging. Just move. Move. Moving is good."
