The youngest of the original "muffin men" is 76, and for 24 years, six days a week, John, Jack and Frank have been collecting food (that would otherwise have been wasted) from various local supermarkets and delivering that food to homeless shelters in Oakland, California. The group has since added more members, including women, so now they are called "muffin people."
