The police in the City of Cabadbaran in the Philippines have developed a unique approach to deal with children arrested for petty crime: Protect, Feed and Save. The program conducts a series of year-long activities with the ultimate goal of getting the kids back in school. Inspired by a film on police training, Joerge Manulat, who was arrested for stealing scrap metal, became interested in becoming a police officer. With help from the local police unit, he received a scholarship to study Criminology with the hopes of becoming a police chief someday.
