The Scraper Bike Team rides in formation through the streets of East Oakland, California, their bicycles decorated with colorful foil and tape. The mission of the Scraper Bike Team is to provide kids an outlet to stay out of trouble and motivate them to make positive choices in their lives. In order to join the Scraper Bike Team, kids need to hold a 2.0 GPA or higher and are encouraged to live a green lifestyle. With loyalty, unity, pride and creativity at its core, the Scraper Bike Team has already made a big difference for thousands of Oakland youth.
