In this TED Talk, Chase Iron Eyes underlines the importance of the community in the fight to save water supplies from big oil corporations and governmental manhandling of property rights. We all need to get involved to secure America's water resources, and to counter the harsh realities of violent, unethical treatment of US Citizens by the government. An enrolled member of the Standing Rock Nation, Chase has dedicated his career to ending the legal and economic oppression of Tribal Nations and their citizens by implementing self-determination on and off the Reservation, while making it clear that water security is an issue of concern for all citizens.
