Lux Narayan shares what he learned by holding a rear view mirror to lessons learned from lives well lived. By reading 2,000 non-paid editorial obituaries in the New York Times, he identified the achievements of both famous and non famous individuals, and found some similarities. Basically "they made a positive dent in the fabric of life; they helped," according to Narayan. He urges us to live our lives in a way that will make us remembered for what we did to make the world a better place, for how we helped.
