Meet Tom, Sarah and their daughter, Neesa. They live in a 20 square meter off-grid cabin on property in New Zealand. Instead of paying rent, they share the work of looking after the land with the owners. Tom is a medical doctor and Sarah is an illustrator. Both have chosen to reduce their work to almost nothing in order to have more time to focus on living well. This short film is an example of Happen Films' Living the Change, a feature-length documentary which explores solutions of which any one of us can be a part.

Of course we can also choose to live simply while still being in the world, though it is the more difficult way. So while their journey may inspire, it is not meant for all of us, lest no one be engaged and modeling it to a desperate, needy, broken world and people. }:- ❤️ anonemoose monk
