Most of us want to do the right thing when it comes to the environment. But things aren’t as simple as opting for the paper bag, says sustainability strategist Leyla Acaroglu. Acaroglu's TED talk is a bold call for us to let go of tightly-held green myths and think bigger in order to create systems and products that ease strain on the planet. Thanks Team! Way ta go Sister Leyla. Cheers to updating the sustainability conversation. Like re-usable grocery bags other than "paper or plastic". Tea kettles designed to help us heat the appropriate amount of water for "tea time", instead of wasting energy in heating. Refrigerators designed to help to prevent food waste. Overall, leveraging things that are already happening, and using it towards sustainability. "Systems Based Solutions". Let's be officially and globally encouraged together. May we strengthen our resolve to find solutions, and not harboring fear or despair. As is said: "Bitterness cannot take root in a grateful heart". Much love. Peace
