The teenage girls of The Global Village Project Refugee Choir come from all over the world and speak many languages, but share one experience in common -- they are all refugees. Created as a means of teaching the girls English at the Global Village School, the choir quickly teaches them this shared language. Singing together, the students learn English and create powerfully affecting music.
