By now, most of us are aware of the use of child slave labour in the mass production of chocolate. One man, Mott Green, set out to change that dynamic in the island of Grenada by setting up a farmer-owned cooperative chocolate manufacturing company. Using solar power to produce the chocolate, wind power to transport the chocolate to other islands and nations, and cycle power for the final distribution, The Grenada Chocolate Company strives to be sustainable in every way.
