Americans are having to change the way they live, from abandoning the “white picket fence and two car garage” goal to no longer working a 9 to 5 job. Martin urges Americans to choose to live together in community housing, or cohousing. This kind of housing, still popular in other countries around the world, tends to help kids and adults, as they can share a community as well as physical and emotional labor.
