An overwhelming amount of new apparel is made every year. The Renewal Workshop works to reduce apparel waste at a time when it is cheaper to buy something new than to care for an item that you already have. Discarded clothing and textiles are given new life by cleaning, sorting and repairing them. They are then returned to their brands or retailers or made available for sale online. "We can fix anything," a spokesperson for the project asserts. The video reminds us that we are part of a bigger picture and illustrates one important way in which we can serve something bigger than ourselves.
