Meet a self described "Love Bug," Joan Hart, an extraordinary volunteer in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit of New York Presbyterian Hospital. Joan provides just the right touch needed by each of the vulnerable and fragile infants in her care, whether it be a cuddle, a pat on the back, a song, or soothing words of love. She helps parents through the knowledge that their infants will be comforted and soothed when they are unable to be there themselves. A tiny infant's cry brings this cuddler to the rescue with reassurance and an abundant capacity for love.
