This footage of the 1996 Olympics pays tribute to gymnast Kerri Strugs, and through her, the strength of character that sports can exemplify. The fate of a team medal for the Americans rested on Kerri's final vault. But on her first attempt she fell and injured her ankle. On her next attempt she was so hobbled she had to make a nearly one-foot landing. But land it she did, scoring enough points for her team to win the gold.
