Robina Asti has always loved flying. She was a commercial pilot and flight instructor, and flew for the Navy in World War II. At 92, Asti tells her story of living as a transgender woman since 1976, and her fight against the Social Security Administration (SSA) in the U.S. to be treated like any other widow.     This is a beautiful video sharing the story of Robina - an amazing, fascinating, brave American hero who also happens to be trans. My mind and heart have opened watching this. I am relieved she received the acknowledgement and benefits she deserved.
