The astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson gives parents this advice to encourage children's interest in science: "Get out of their way." He describes conducting science experiments as the most human activity and points out that infants and toddlers are natural scientists exploring their environments. Children are born curious; science and curiosity go together. The delightful images of very young children exploring their worlds at the end of the video compellingly reinforce the message.
