It is said that skills are equally distributed, but opportunity is not. On a fateful trip to Myanmar, Linus Lin felt called to take action after seeing a man give everything he had to children in a village. Linus felt that given the right conditions, the kids and the people around them could be destined to do amazing things in their lives. When Linus met Joseph Bu Shwe, an English teacher in Myanmar, the duo set out to combine their passions and desires for helping children by creating the Global Village for Hope. The organization has helped more than 200 children in foster homes in the outskirts of Yangon and in Chin State with financial and educational support. And their dreams are growing.
