This delightful animated film reminds us of the photo entitled Earthrise that was one of the first images of the earth taken from the Appollo 8 mission to the moon, and how it captivated the imagination of all who witnessed it. With words from a reflection by the poet Archibald MacLeish that was published in the NY Times in December, 1968, the iconic image of "that tiny raft in the enormous empty night" continues to inspire more than 50 years later, reminding us that we are indeed all riders on the same planet.
