Losing one’s memory is like being cancelled. We can deny this change in life for others and ourselves, or we can learn to embrace this change while remembering “you are still the person you spent your life becoming.” Every moment matters and counts but the truth is that life moves so quickly, and we often get so caught up in the day-to-day hustle that we forget to say the things that truly matter. This film is a reminder to enjoy every moment right now since it is all we really have. It’s easy to assume there will always be more time to express how we feel, but the truth is, life is unpredictable, and none of us knows how much time we have with the people we care about. That’s why telling the people we love how much they mean to us, right here and now, is so important. So don’t hesitate—show your heart, share your love, and make it a habit to remind the people around you how much they mean to you. You never know how much they might need to hear it.

Gratitude! I have worked with people like him for 16 plus years, mostly brilliant minds and some have communicated similarly. Some are breast cancer survivors, children passed away or had abuse of some kind. Most remain healthy physically which is where I came in to make that possible safely. I'll never forget one lady saying "Oh God, Please Don't Let Me Ever Do the Senior Shuffle". She did gentle exercise and mobility and could sit on the floor and get up in her 80's. Post pandemic many more are sedentary, It's hard to motivate them however they are at Peace, Relaxed and Reflective. What more can one ask for? This video was for ME! And I fell in Love with Him and his message though I know it already.

At 74 he is voicing so many of the things I think about all of the time. I will be leaving soon because of a health condition, not dementia. But then I will, indeed, be gone. And I also want to write those letters.

I have worked with people with dementia, but to hear these feelings from a person who recognizes that they are going through this, the fears associated with it, remembering still what they were and the struggle to maintain that, knowing they can't is the most revealing of feelings I have seen about it. This is one brave man. Bless him and may we all recognize through him the pain of being it must be. It is enough to look in the mirror at an elderly age and not recognize oneself, but to know that your mind is slippping away must be excrutiating and very frightening.

This was very poignant, raw and honest. Thank you.
