Shaheen Mistri's story is a story of children - many children. She began working with children at the age of 12 on summer vacations to India. Since then, Shaheen has touched the lives of over 20,000 children through her two organizations, Akanksha and Teach For India. In this "Spirited Circles" talk at a Giftivism gathering in Ahmedabad, India, in 2012, she shares lessons that she has learned, on giving and generosity, from the children with whom she has had the great privilege to work.
