Thank you for sharing this powerful story. When you said, "The ordinary thinking mind cannot help us in every circumstance" and "Behind the world of appearances, there is light," I was very inspired. It is so easy to become consumed by routines and habits and to-do lists that we can lose sight of greater truths and greater realizations. But in your sharing of your near death experience, you remind us all that there is something beyond the form of every day life that can be a source of comfort in the midst of danger and security in the midst of uncertainty.
