This video touched my heart and soul and somehow reached that part of me the never felt like I was quite enough and sent me down the road to perfectionism. How amazing that this video and song made feel I have nothing to attain or strive for to be worthy of love. I just have to be. Thank you!

Love this. Many times in life we get caught up in this thinking. Thank you for the message "Being real is important"

Failure is a stepping stone to success, the old adage is so true. Perfection can be an ambition but should not deter our journey. It can be an aspiration, but need not become the underlying reason of our satisfaction or happiness. Life unfolds based on our state of mind, and if perfection becomes one of the steps to climb, it may cease our climb, so let it be the pinnacle where we have to finally reach.

I started to understand this truth when as a budding watercolour artist I discovered that Creation was not symmetrical. And started looking at it all through new eyes... And as we are all part of the same Creation...we were not just good but very good...warts and all. Freedom always comes from looking and understanding that we are as we are...

don't try to be what other people think you should be, be yourself, the real you, even if it means being "a little off the wall crazy" We're all perfect in our own way when we let our selves be who we really are.

I love this perception of perfection and your performance is simply energizing. Thank you. As I lead Kintsugi workshops, the beauty of highlighting the flaws, I resonate so deeply. OH yes, the truth: when we suffer damage, yes we are all the more beautiful. How I love my cracks. they are my true beauty and yours too. Here's to being real and being loved, giving permission for others to be who they are too <3 Thank you so much for sharing your gift! <3

This is one of the BEST videos on this subject that I have ever seen! As a "less young" person, I believe that younger people do not take the time to figure out what they REALLY ARE DRIVEN to do. If you do not know where you are going, any path will take you there. Constant "motion" and striving for perfection hides the fact "I do not know what I am going to do between NOW and DEAD. Social Media, particularly Facebook, contributes to trying to be perfect. Have you ever seen someone who posts, "I had a crappy day today"? AMAZING VIDEO. I especially like the delivery. That young man show passion!

From Wikipedia: In traditional Japanese aesthetics, wabi-sabi (侘寂) is a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete".

THis is a real truth. No one is perfect. The example of trees in forest is the most suitable example to explain. Thank you

I'm 77 yrs. old. And I am only now learning this important truth. I am delighted to see young people expressing this truth in their own way. It gives me great hope for the next generation.
