Byron Nicolai was a star athlete at his high school in Toksook Bay, an Alaskan community of under 650 people. But how will he compete in the big city? Basketball had become central to village life, impressive for a people who primarily live off the land. Now he and his teammates are traveling to compete in the Coastal Conference Tournament. This film, which was shown at the Sundance Film Festival as well as on ESPN Sports Center, details their journey.
