The Poetry in Motion van brings light to communities where people struggle day to day. This arts education organization works to break the cycle of violence in the lives of at-risk and incarcerated young people, awakening them to their gifts, and helping them to share these gifts with the community. For the multi-generational audiences, the young poets and their mentors are "reweaving the fabric of community one rhyme at a time." And as they say, "Metaphors be with you!"
